People will meet 150 soldiers in uniforms on Náměstí Svobody square
24 April 2015 – Celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Brno by the Red Army
A full-day program at Náměstí Svobody will feature an exhibition of photographs from the Protectorate and the fights for the city, a field kitchen will in place handing out "liberation goulash", a Red Army field post office with the possibility of writing a period postcard, or an exhibition of arms and equipment.

16.00 | ceremonial arrival of a convoy of historic vehicles and troops with 150 uniformed soldiers and 25 Soviet and German army vehicles and weapons |

17.30 | announcement of an art competition for primary school pupils on the theme of Liberation of the City of Brno in 1945 |
