Guided Tour of Cejl Prison – guide Michal Doležel

Despite the former prison on Cejl street being in the very centre of the city, for most of the Brno’s inhabitants it has been completely forgotten now for several decades. Symbolically on the day celebrating the struggle for freedom and democracy Sokol Brno I together with Brno’s Tourism Information Centre is organising two guided tours of the prison and a theatrical production performed in the Baroque prison chapel, which was converted after 1948 into an ‘agitation’ room for the prison’s administration.
