Islands In The Stream (Finzi, Howells, Britten) – an orchestra concert

The Ensemble Opera Diversa is an independent group of professional musicians and singers who are devoted to the creation and implementation of live music and vocal production. Besides classical compositions,  their core activity also features the composing of original chamber music and operas from the workshop of Ondřej Kyas and Pavel Drábek. Since the beginning (1999) the Ensemble has developed into a musical society, which produces about forty shows and performances each year. It has on its account three full-feature operas, twenty original minioperas, ten original pieces for orchestra and a large quantity of classical repertoire. The Ensemble consists of a group of singers, a chamber orchestra (led by concert master Jan Bělohlávek), which is popular for its performances of classical and modern music, and a chamber choir Ensemble Versus (led by Vladimír Maňas).
